How to Update a Requirement/Document
Users: Administrators
This video will show you how to update and modify a Registration Requirement
In order to edit Registration Requirements, administrators will need the correct permissions. Please email support@aktivate.com and ask for those permissions if you do not yet have them.
Steps:
- Go to Navigation
- Click Settings
- Select Registration Requirements
- Locate the document you need to edit and click the Edit button to the right of the document name
- Here, you can edit the Name of the document, Custom Instructions, How to track, How long it is valid, whether it is required or not, and to whom it applies (which sports) by clicking the Edit button to the right of each of those sections.
- Click the Stop Using this Requirement button at the top of the page to remove the requirement from registrations. You will be asked to choose to:
- Remove the requirement from ALL registrations (except for those that have past seasons).
- Remove the requirement from any future registrations, but it will remain on any started registrations
- Remove the requirement at the end of the academic year
- THIS STEP CANNOT BE UNDONE. ONCE A REQUIREMENT HAS BEEN REMOVED IT IS AN INACTIVE REQUIREMENT AND CANNOT BE MADE ACTIVE AGAIN. YOU WILL HAVE TO CREATE A NEW REGISTRATION REQUIREMENT
- Click the TRANSITION TO NEW DOCUMENT button at the top of the page to replace the document for the Registration Requirement.
- You will upload the new document or assign a new URL
- You will then select Yes or No to determine if Completed registrations for each sport will be assigned this new document or not:
- Yes = any sport selected will have this new document appear on all registrations, even those that were previously marked Complete with the former document. All registrations will be marked Incomplete and parents and athletes will have to login and complete this requirement and e-sign again.
- No = any sport selected will NOT have this new document Registration Requirement appear on previously Completed, E-signed registrations. It WILL appear on all other registrations.
- Click Add New Language to add additional documents with other languages
- Select URL or Upload the translated document
- Select the new language
- Click Save
