How to Create an Email Group

Users: Administrators

The below video will walk you through how to create an email group.


  1. Log into your Aktivate Account
  2. Go to the UIL Portal or the Coach Management System
  3. Select Navigation
  4. Click Email Systems (bottom of the page)

*If you do not see the email systems button, it’s likely the permission needs to be added to your account. Feel free to reach out to us or the admin at your school to get this permission turned on

  1. Select Email Groups 
  2. Click New Group at the top
  3. Type in a name for the group
  4. Select what account types you want to message
  5. Select the sports, teams, and/or seasons you would like to include in the group

NOTE: If you would like to further filter the group then select More Filter Options

  1. Click Preview Group at the bottom to review who will be included in your messaging to this group
  2. Click Save Group
