How to Complete the Atavus Tackling Certification
If you are a Texas football coach, then you will be asked to complete the Atavus tackling certification. To complete this training, you'll need to have a registration in the UIL Portal and then follow the steps below.
New Texas Coaches Certification
- Register as a Football Coach on UIL/RMA Portal: http://uil.registermyathlete.com/
- An Atavus account and ID information will be available in UIL/RMA portal account information
- Register for an Atavus account using email and Atavus ID: https://texas.dta.atavus.com/users/sign_up
- Go to Certification Level 1 within your account to complete the Certification
Returning Texas Coaches Certification
- Login to Atavus account: https://texas.dta.atavus.com/users/sign_in
- Reset your password to gain access to the account (if necessary): https://texas.dta.atavus.com/users/password/new
- Go to Certification Level 2 within your account to complete the Certification
Once you have completed the training you can download your complete certificate and upload it, or you can connect your Ativus ID to your UIL account. By connecting your Atavus ID to your UIL account your training well get automatically marked complete. Please see the related article below to learn how to connect your Atavus ID.
Please Note: Once the connection is set up you may not see the Atavas training complete immediately. It can take a week for us to receive the certification from Atavus.
