(UHSAA) Transfer Statuses and What They Mean

As an administrator in Utah, the UHSAA has set up a transfer system with a variety of statuses to help you understand where the transfer is in the process. This article will list some of the most common statuses to help you understand what they mean.


  • In Progress - This means that the transfer is currently in the parent's possession
  • In Progress (Forced) - This means that a student has been forced into a transfer by an administrator and the form is in their possession
  • Submitted for School Approval - This means the parents have submitted the form to the school administration and it's now in their possession
  • Mission Information - This means that the UHSAA has reviewed the transfer and rejected it back to the school
  • Under Review - This means that the transfer is in possession of the UHSAA and they are reviewing it
  • Approved - The transfer has been approved by the UHSAA
  • Denied - The transfer has been denied by the UHSAA
